Photo of the Day

Our favorite photo of the day.

Winner By A Nose

Just when I think I have seen everything something comes along to remind me that there is still much to learn. This shot from a 4H competition at the Evergreen State Fair is a reminder that things we might find personally painful are fully acceptable when applied by the correct hand.

Might as well Jump!

On a walk through the Westlake Center the other day I came upon a crowd watching two young men juggling and performing acrobatic tricks for tips. The smiles and laughter of the assembled group convinced me to pause long enough to catch one of the duo demonstrating his athletic ability. Westlake Canter is a magnet for buskers and always a [...]

Berrylicious

Picked up a mess of berries at the West Seattle Sunday market on Sunday.  Summer may be stingy with the sunshine, but at least we squeezed some berries out of her.

2010: A Year In Food, Folks, and Fun

2010 has been one fabulous feast of food, folks, and fun at Natasha Reed Photography.  We take those three things so seriously, it’s our slogan.  ”Specializing in Food, Folks, and Fun.”  We love bringing the fun to photography with people and food.  Some photographers are reluctant to turn a photography interest into a photography business [...]

All In A Day's Work

This visitor was found in our backyard earlier today, making a home for herself.

Over The Rainbow

I was walking through Seattle Center when I saw this young man leave his mother’s side and ride over to the edge of the International Fountain. As he looked for whatever he wished to find, I borrowed this moment of his time.

Jenna and Jeff at Hello Cupcake

We met Jenna and Jeff at Hello Cupcake tonight to shoot a few photos for their Save the Date wedding reminders. In was a fun evening in Tacoma and we are looking forward to the wedding.

Fire Dance at the Evergreen Fair

A moment in time at the Evergreen Fair in Monroe, Washington.

Life and Death in Centrailia

We were on a trip to Portland and stopped by one our favorite photo spots,  a small park located in Centrailia, Washington. It was a little late in the year for most of the flowers in the garden, but the Sunflowers still had a few bright spots.

Day Trip to The San Juan Islands

We had visitors recently and decided to pack everyone up  and take a day trip to the San Juan Islands. While there we took a taxi tour and ended up at the largest Lavender field in the area. I caught this elusive beauty trying to hide among the flora.

Ruby Girl: 49 Ford Crestliner

We took a walk to enjoy the sunshine and crowds at the Seattle Center today, and while we were strolling we ran into Ruby Girl and her owners David and Ruby Gaines.  They were very nice people, but we turned down the offered lessons.

A Moment In Time

We attended the University District Fair today. The streets were crowded with sunshine worshipers eager to get some french fries and ice cream. On one corner a small family performed, playing bluegrass for the crowd forming around them. This young man played as if he was the only person there, and charmed everyone who watched.

Skagit Valley Tulips

Saturday we took a visiting friend out to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival for a spring infusion of color. The festival takes place from April 1-30 each year but is really dependent upon how harsh the winter and early spring are to the flowers. This year, the mild early spring accelerated the viewing season by a week or so, [...]

Touristas at Kerry Park

We stopped by Kerry Park on Queen Anne for a quick peek at the view and a group of traveling teens were getting busy with their photos.  When I saw they were jumping up and snapping, I had to get in on the action.
