Earlier this month we took the ferry over to Southworth to shoot Sarah and Broc’s engagement session.   This was our second trip over to the little town, we had gone over previously to meet the family and discuss the upcoming nuptials, and just as before the area was beautiful.

We met at the house and then piled into our car for the trip down to the water. The small beachfront area was ideal for the  initial photos so we all settled in and relaxed. Sarah and Broc had no trouble at all expressing their love for each other.

We drove back over to the house so we could take some shots amid the fruit trees in the front yard.

Broc’s mom had purchased retro bicycles for the family, so we snapped a few shots while they took them out for a test spin.

After the ride Sarah and Broc changed clothes and we drove down to a nearby pier to capture the couple in the setting sun. We had the end of the pier all to ourselves so we encouraged the couple to play a bit while we shot. I will admit to talking Sarah onto the railing, we wanted a great shot of those shoes.

Broc mentioned that he knew a place nearby in Port Orchard that had cool murals on the walls so we rushed downtown to catch the last of the sunlight. The murals were fantastic and fun, depicting scenes of the ocean, the town proper and balloon travel.  We took our final shots as friends of the couple passed by going to the local club for the night.

It was a wonderful afternoon and we look forward to the upcoming wedding. Thank you Sarah and Broc.
