A few Thursdays ago we met with Brittany and John at Normandy Cove Beach Park to do their engagement session photos. We originally met Brittany at the wedding of her sister Meredith three years ago, and were delighted when she contacted us about her own upcoming nuptials.
Normandy Cove Beach Park is a private area open only to the families that live around it, but John grew up there and his parents still reside nearby, so we thought that the beautiful scenery would suit the day well.
The couple arrived in separate cars as the shoot took place directly after work. After taking pictures around the area, Brittany suggested that John go get their dogs from his truck so that we could do the final shot with them. The look on John’s face was priceless as he informed Brittany that he thought she had brought them. We all had a good laugh about it, including Brittany’s friend who had come along for the express purpose of dog wrangling.
It was a lovely afternoon, with a perfect sunset. We all had fun and are looking forward to the wedding later this summer.
